Flying Lessons

Ground Exams

Ground examinations consist of simple multiple choice papers covering the following:-

• Principles of flight
• Air Law
• Navigation
• Meteorology
• Human Factors


Flight examinations include a General Flying Test (GFT) and two qualifying cross country flights. The minimum training is 25 hours made up of 15 hours dual, and 10 hours solo.


Booking a Lesson

Each flying lesson is booked as a two hour slot to allow for the pre-flight briefing, walk around inspection of the aircraft, and the one hour flying lesson.

Also, you may require a short de-briefing following the flight, so that you know how you performed and where you need to focus for the next lesson.
